ROLE SUMMARY:

The Business Analyst will be reporting directly to the Portfolio Brand Leaders and will collaborating with them closely to provide the necessary data and insights for them to make comprehensive business decisions. You are an SQL expert who’s also highly skilled in data analysis and visualization (Excel/Tableau/ Looker/similar). You have 4+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, preferably for a D2C company. You’re an excellent communicator with the ability to deliver results of analyses clearly and effectively. You also have a strong sense of curiosity and a desire to learn and to be part of the beauty/health industry. You know how to harness complex organizational interfaces and initiate and drive projects from beginning to end with minimal guidance.

Bonus points if you have a BSc/BA in a highly quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics or engineering; are familiar and experienced with product experiments (A/B tests); know Python, R or any other scripting language; have experience working with big data and have experience working with BI tools.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze and optimize brands and products though the creation of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports using smart BI tools to help develop deep business analysis across all verticals of the business.

Build and maintain reports, dashboards and metrics, in addition to monitoring the integrity and validity of the data reportedSee beyond numbers and help to inform, influence, support and execute our business decisions.

Conduct customer analysis–churn/LTV, behavior, segmentation, trends, customer value and more.

Work with large amounts of data and build tools to streamline the process.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

3+ years of experience in data transformation using SQL, Excel, Python, Snowflake/AWSProficiency in at least one statistical software package (R/SPSS)Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, etc.

Experience working with large scale, complex datasets. Demonstrated strength in data modeling / data warehousing Proven experience in project management as well as building out organizational solutionsAn ability to work autonomously and drive business objectives with minimal instructionExcellent attention to detailHands-on, practical problem solving and process improvement skills and ability to complete tasks within set timeframes

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and prioritize projects. Problem solver who can work well with ambiguity. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas. Willingness to challenge the
status quo“I know nothing” mind-set. Experience with D2C and consumer brands in the health and beauty space
is a huge bonus.
